Puente La Reina to Estella on 20th Aug. to Los Arcos on 21st Aug. and to Logrono on 22nd Aug.

The approach to Cirauqui....

...and me!

The famous Roman road after Cirauqui. A very tricky downhill for me. Probably one of the most difficult sections of the whole Camino Frances, in my opinion.

The church in Estella.

The free wine and water fountain just outside Estella. A good flow rate on the water. The wine tap doesn't flow as quickly unfortunately. You wont get drunk here, especially if you pass it at 8am like I did.

Not many cacti on route. This is one of the few I saw.

The hostel, la Fuente de Austria where I stayed in Los Arcos. One of the nicest and most homely of albergues.

No idea what the RTE stands for.

An Australian and an American. Brisbane and California if I remember rightly. I started with both of them in Orisson and met them many times along the way. Both were always very friendly.

A Dutch woman and very committed hiker.
