The half way point marker between Roncesvalles and Santiago.
The towns were always quiet leaving in the mornings. Great for taking photos.
The sun setting at the back of Albergue Par in Bercianos del Real Camino. The Albergue is run by American Women hospitaleras. They brought us out to view this beautiful sight. They seemed to enjoy it as much as us, which is amazing as they have it virtually every night.
The pathways that run along beside roads are known as senda. They can be long, hot and boring and never ending. This is a typical senda photo.
Leaving Leon in the morning. All quiet as usual.
I never saw so much SWA cable in the one place. And all outdoors as well.
This guy, José María Pérez Giner owner of Algergue San Antonio de Pádua in Villar de Mazarife saved my Camino journey. He is owner, cook, practitioner of alternative medicine, physiotherapist and massuse. I limped into his Albergue one evening but walked out the following morning able to complete my Camino journey. Thank you Pérez Giner!
